About St Sukie

St. Sukie de la Croix was born Darryl Michael Vincent on the 16th September 1951 in Bath, U.K. He fell out of his mother’s womb–or was it a badger’s hole in the woods?-(His MOTHER being Doreen Mary Vincent, a bus conductress cum witch cum lunatic). The birth occurred nine months after his father, Stanley Reginald Vincent, planted his poisonous seed in her. SRV was a bus driver and World War II veteran, built like a brick shithouse and fond of alcohol. They named their only child Darryl after the film producer Darryl F. Zanuck. Darryl discarded the name as soon as he was able, throwing it into a trashcan and pissing on it repeatedly while swigging from a bottle of vodka.

From DAY 1, DMV, the mother, set about the business of driving her son completely insane. Between her telepathy with Zenda, an unhinged and dangerous German Shepherd, her antipathy toward “females,” and her twin obsessions of Trebilinka Death Camp and “mongoloids” as she called Down Syndrome kids, Darryl was doomed to be “different” … very “different” indeed.

Darryl attended school but education was wasted on him. He learned nothing at Moorlands Infant School, Fosseway Junior School, and Westhill Boys School. Nothing. It was a complete waste of time. While other kids aspired to be astronauts or train drivers, all Darryl wanted to be was a dead orphan left to rot in a shallow grave. To medicate what can only be described as “a miserable and wretched childhood,” Darryl disappeared into the pages of books. He packed his worldly spiritual belongings into a knapsack and moved into Alan Garner’s “The Weirdstone of Brisingamen: A Tale of Alderley.”

After graduation, the British class system dictated he leave school with a substandard education and become straitjacketed in a mind-numbing job in a factory or deliver milk. 

St. Sukie de la Croix had other ideas. 

He became an eyesore and a nuisance.

Then he ran away and joined the circus.
