New for Spring 2026

Our spring 2026 list brings together a work of Chicago history, a memoir, and a collection of stories.

Owen Keehnen’s A Place for Us returns to the Belmont Rocks, the stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline where queer Chicago gathered in broad daylight for decades, drawing on more than a hundred firsthand accounts. In Now What?, Sandra Butler, nearly ninety, writes about old age from the inside with honesty and a sharp sense of humor, taking on subjects most writers on aging avoid. Alfred P. Doblin’s Sailing Beyond the Sunset gathers ten stories of gay love, friendship, and late-life reinvention, from a Manhattan neighborhood bar to a road trip home to Michigan.

All three are available now in paperback and ebook.
